Mimi Gonzalez
Mimi Gonzalez is a stand-up comic who's excited and inspired to return to Santa Fe and as a part of the Indigenous Ways Festival. As a stand-up comic for over 30 years, she's entertained prides, women's cruises and festivals, local lounge bars, comedy clubs, colleges and the U.S. military from Japan to Iraq and Afghanistan. All of her joke notebooks contained poems and in 2018 she earned an MFA from Mills College. "Punchlines & Poetry" is a genre she's inventing that combines both her writing loves of comedy and poetry. She's committed to supporting the writer within every participant at her Write Hear writing workshops.
